SchuldenFrei stores all data exclusively locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted to, stored on, or processed by any server.

What Data is Stored?

  • Debt data: Name, balance, interest rate, monthly payment, and other optional details. Stored in your browser's IndexedDB.
  • Payment history: Recorded payments with date and amount. Stored in your browser's IndexedDB.
  • Settings: Language, theme preference, and reminder day. Stored in your browser's LocalStorage.

No Data Transfer

SchuldenFrei is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that runs entirely in your browser. After the initial load, the app works offline. At no point is data sent to external servers.

No Cookies, No Tracking

SchuldenFrei does not use cookies, analytics tracking, or advertising. No user profiles are created.

Data Deletion

You can completely delete your data at any time: Either through the app settings (Delete All Data) or by clearing your browser data for this website.

Data Export

You can export your data as a JSON file at any time and import it on another device. The export happens directly in your browser without any server detour.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Since no personal data is collected or processed, the usual data subject rights under GDPR (access, deletion, rectification, etc.) do not apply. All data is under your sole control on your device.
